Tropic Thunder Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying. The directorial debut of Ben Stiller, he stars alongside Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black. August 21.

Wanted When his assassin father is murdered, a young man (James McAvoy) is trained to follow in his footsteps. Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman star as assassins Sloan and Fox. July 31. The Bank Job is based on the true story of the 1971 Baker Street bank robbery, one of the biggest in British history. July 31.

DRAMA
Stop-Loss A veteran soldier (Ryan Phillippe) returns from his completed tour of duty in Iraq, only to find his life turned upside down when he is arbitrarily ordered to return to field duty by the army. Aussie actress Abbie Cornish (Somersault) also stars. August 7.
