Mini Garden Shed
Custom-build a rustic cupboard for a small courtyard

STEP 7
Hang the doors
Position doors with the braces forming an X shape. Cut a 45º bevel on the end of each hinge block and position them on the front, in line with the braces and rails. Secure with 25mm x 8g screws, attaching T hinges with supplied screws. Attach the bolt.

STEP 8
Attach the roofing
Cut the roofing with tin snips and position over the frame of the shed, overlapping in the centre. Measure 90mm from the front edge and 60mm from the back edge to secure to the top of the frame with 45mm roofing screws.

STEP 9
Finishing the shed
Leave the palings unfinished, or coat the exterior with deck stain or acrylic paint. TIP The palings are cut and supplied unseasoned, so it’s best to wait a few months for the timber to dry out so the paint or stain can bond well.
