Safety tips to remember when using a power drill
Drill Safety
• Wear safety glasses, secure long hair and loose clothing. Use hearing protection when operating in hammer mode.
• Disconnect the drill before changing bits with a chuck key. The chuck may become hot during drilling.
• When drilling around the house, use a scanning device to check for electrical cables or water pipes. Make sure the drill is connected to a circuit with an earth leakage breaker or safety switch.
