How to revive a chainsaw
The woodchip from a chainsaw should have a rough texture, and you’ll know it needs sharpening when it begins to spit out fine dust.

A bench-mounted chain sharpener revives the blade. Wearing safety gear, mount it on a secure surface, adjust the angle of the cut to suit the chain, adjust the chain or tooth stop then the depth.
Slowly lower the grinding disc to make contact with the front face of the tooth. Rotate the guide clamp and slide the chain to the next cutting edge. After one side is sharpened, change the angle of the chain clamp to sharpen the teeth on the opposite side.
