The facts on Australian snakes
To treat a snake bite, apply a pressure bandage but not so tightly it cuts off blood supply. Immobilise the limb with a splint and keep still because activity quickly spreads venom. Seek medical assistance and give a description of the snake.

| herb on 06 April 2012 ,17:40 your picture of a green tree snake looks more like a green python. Are you sure you have the right picture? We have many green tree snakes here on the sunshine coast and they do not look like that |
