Witch hazel is full of tannins, which help shrink blood vessels. Cleveland Clinic colorectal surgeon Massarat Zutshi, says it’s okay to use this directly on haemorrhoids. Drench a cotton ball with undistilled witch hazel and press it against the haemorrhoid.
