BILL DIODATO/GETTY IMAGES here are quotes from young students— America’s future leaders!—as shared on the Live from Snack Time! Instagram account: ) “I know how babies are made. What I don’t know is why.” ) “I love the way you are. I just wish you were a sea otter.” ) “All I want for break- fast is some extra time to sleep.” I was visiting my grand- mother one day when I reached into a box of crackers and grabbed a handful. Once they hit my mouth I almost gagged. They were so salty. I looked at the box to see if this was some new kind of fla- vor. It said “unsalted.” “Grandma,” I said, “these are the saltiest unsalted crackers I’ve ever had.” She shook her head. “Your mom insists on buying me unsalted crackers, so I just salt the box myself.” —Sherri Anderson I was conducting my business in the bath- room, twiddling my glasses, when the door flew open. It was my 4-year-old son. He looked at me seated on the throne, smiled, then ran out, hollering to his brother, “Ha ha! I saw Papa in the bathroom, and he didn’t have his glasses on!” —Johnny Latham A REMINDER: CRIME STILL DOES NOT PAY ) Police in Florida pulled over a driver for not wearing a seat belt. After spotting what they suspected was drug parapher- nalia, they searched the car and found even more drugs and paraphernalia. It wasn’t hard to find. The goods were inside a bag labeled: “Bag of Drugs.” —The Smoking gun ) Brett Redd was irate. His pickup truck had been stolen at a gas station in Hilliard, Ohio. So he called 911, demanding that police get his ride back for him. Officers chased down the truck and arrested the thief. Redd was soon reunited with his truck, but not for long, as the police learned that Redd himself had stolen the truck from a landscaping company. —WBnS neWS ) “You can never be too safe” is a credo to live by. A man in Spring Hill, Florida, certainly did. After buying two bags of methamphetamine, he called 911, asking to have the material tested because he suspected it might really be bath salts. The police obliged, and after testing, discovered the bags did, indeed, contain meth—and arrested the cautious caller. —Fox13 neWS your funny story could be published here!
