The long-term effects of better heart health and lower blood pressure grants you another significant benefit: lower stroke risk. Compared to non-smokers, e-cigarette users have a 71 per cent high risk of stroke, according to research presented at the 2019 International Stroke Conference. Quitting can lower that risk almost immediately, but the risks continue to fall with each passing calendar month.

A 2017 study published in Scientific Reports suggests e-cigarettes and vaping may lead to DNA changes and genetic mutations that can increase the risk of cancer. The same goes for the risk of developing pancreatic cancer.”
