Most Trusted brands for wealth and financial security
For the 22nd year, Reader’s Digest has commissioned an independent survey, in which we approach ordinary consumers to ask their opinions on what brands of products and services are important to them.
When it comes to trust, few areas are as important as those that help us build our wealth, safeguard our future and determine where and how we live. These were the brands that Australians have deemed Most Trusted when it comes to building wealth, achieving prosperity and financial security, and living the life of our dreams in 2021.
Bank of the Year: Bendigo Bank
In 2021, Australians have voted Bendigo Bank as their Bank of the Year.
Australia’s largest superannuation fund, run only for members, AustralianSuper prides itself on a history of strong, long-term performance and low fees. And its 2.4 million members agree.
Highly commended brands: Rest, HESTA
Life Insurance: AAMI
When it come to the Life Insurance brand they trust the most, the majority of respondents felt lucky they were with AAMI.
Highly commended brands: Suncorp, Allianz
Health Insurance: MediBank
This year, MediBank took out the top spot for the Health Insurance brand Aussies most stake their faith in.

Home & Contents Insurance: AAMI
AAMI were also voted the Most Trusted brand in the Home & Contents Insurance cateogory.

Funeral insurance: Suncorp
Australians have once again chosen repeat-winner Suncorp as their Most Trusted Funeral Insurance brand.
Highly commended brands: Apia, Australian Seniors
Aged Care & Retirement Villages: Anglicare
With a reputation of delivering an exceptional standard of service to senior members of the community and their families, Anglicare Southern Queensland has been awarded Most Trusted Brand in Aged Care and Retirement Villages for the third time.
Highly commended brands: Australian Unity, Uniting Care
Property Developers: AVJennings
Voted Australia’s Most Trusted Property Developers for the third consecutive year, AVJennings has always championed the principles of community.
